Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Encore recently completed its dry dock and is back in action with a host of exciting updates and enhancements. We had the opportunity to step onboard for an exclusive ship tour, taking you deck by deck through the refreshed vessel to showcase what’s new and improved.

A Fresh New Look

One of the first things you’ll notice about Norwegian Encore is its sleek new appearance, thanks to a fresh hull painting during dry dock. This revitalized exterior perfectly complements the updated interiors, setting the tone for an elevated cruising experience.

Enhanced Guest Experiences

Our tour highlighted several exciting updates that bring Norwegian Encore to the next level:

  • Brand-New Spice H2O: Formerly the laser tag arena, this space has been transformed into a stunning adults-only, outdoor retreat. Spice H2O combines guest favorites from other NCL ships, offering hot tubs, large day beds surrounded by cooling pools, and a spacious bar serving refreshing cocktails. It’s the perfect escape for guests 18 and older.

  • Expanded Dining Venues: We explored the revamped dining options, including the expanded Cagney’s Steakhouse and Teppanyaki. These beloved restaurants now occupy larger spaces to accommodate more guests. Additionally, Ocean Blue has been reimagined as Palomar, a Mediterranean seafood restaurant that promises elevated dining experiences.

  • Redesigned Suites in The Haven: The exclusive Haven area features redesigned Premier Owner’s Suites, now with three bedrooms, additional bathrooms, and upgraded living and dining spaces. This luxurious retreat within the ship has been further elevated to meet the expectations of discerning travelers.

  • Additional Balcony Staterooms: By repurposing part of the Observation Lounge, the ship now offers 24 new balcony staterooms and two new club balcony staterooms. These additions provide more options for guests seeking ocean views and comfortable accommodations.
