Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Bliss has officially entered dry dock in Brest, France, kicking off an exciting phase of updates and upgrades. While undergoing routine maintenance and essential technical work, the ship is also set to receive several impressive enhancements designed to elevate the guest experience.
What’s Happening in Dry Dock on Norwegian Bliss?
During her time in dry dock, Norwegian Bliss will undergo various technical updates to ensure she’s ready for her next adventures. These updates include:
Azipod and Stabilizer Maintenance: Enhancing propulsion and stabilization systems for a smoother sailing experience.
Fresh Hull Painting: Giving the ship a clean and refreshed appearance.
Routine Maintenance: Ensuring the ship remains in top condition for years to come.
Exciting Upgrades for Guests
Norwegian Cruise Line is also taking this opportunity to make some significant guest-focused updates:
Horizon Park: A brand-new addition to the ship, offering stunning views and a tranquil escape for guests.
Expanded & Refined Dining Venues: Cagney’s Steakhouse and Teppanyaki restaurant will both see expansions, providing even more space for cruisers to enjoy these popular dining spots. The expanded restaurants will replace Los Lobos and the Coco’s Chocolate Shop. Seafood restaurant Ocean Blue will be replaced by Palomar, a guest favorite from the Prima-Class ships. These changes are in line with the recent refurbishments of Norwegian Joy & Norwegian Encore.
Refurbished Haven Suites: The luxurious Haven suites are receiving a full upgrade, ensuring the ultimate in comfort and style for guests seeking a premium experience, as well as the addition of a new 3-bedroom suite category.
New Cabins: By reconfiguring part of the Observation Lounge, 24 brand-new cabins will be added and replace the port side of the observation lounge, to accommodate more passengers.
Upcoming Transatlantic Itinerary Post-Dry Dock
