We opted for the Dining Duo package during our MSC cruise, which included a meal at Butcher's Cut and a meal at Asian Market Kitchen. This package provided us with the opportunity to enjoy a three-course dinner from each of the “Dining Experience” menus at both restaurants for a cost of $99 per person. We enjoyed the high-quality meats and attentive service at Butcher's Cut and savored the diverse flavors of Asian cuisine at Asian Market Kitchen, creating a memorable culinary journey onboard our cruise.

We began our culinary journey at Asian Market Kitchen with the Braised Pork Bao Bun, which showcased tender and flavorful pork belly encased in a soft and fluffy steamed bun. The combination of savory and slightly sweet flavors was a delightful start to the meal. Next, we sampled the Hawaii Kai-Style Crab Cakes, which featured a crispy exterior and a succulent crab filling. The cakes were accompanied by a spicy and tangy dipping sauce that complemented the delicate flavors of the crab.

For our main course, we both decided to order the Filet Mignon, a popular choice at Asian Market Kitchen. The perfectly cooked steak was tender and juicy, and the accompanying Green Beans added a fresh and vibrant element to the dish. The highlight, however, was the Potato Fritters, which had a delightful crispness on the outside and a fluffy interior. The fritters had a subtle hint of spice, adding an interesting kick to the overall flavor profile. The Filet Mignon was elegantly dressed with a natural sauce that resembled Teriyaki, adding a touch of sweetness and a mild spiciness to the dish, further enhancing its appeal.

To end our meal, we opted for the Pineapple Upside Down Cake, which is regarded as the signature dessert of Asian Market Kitchen. While the presentation was visually appealing, the taste fell slightly short of our expectations. The cake was on the drier side and accompanied by caramelized pineapple, however, the coconut ice cream was delicious. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant ending to an otherwise satisfying dining experience at Asian Market Kitchen.
