Carnival Cruise Line offers an enchanting event called Elegant Night, which provides guests with the opportunity to enjoy a sophisticated evening at sea. During this special occasion, guests can dress up in elegant attire and indulge in fine dining, creating a memorable experience onboard.
Dress Code and Attire:
Elegant Night on Carnival Cruise Line follows a suggested dress code that encourages guests to embrace a more formal style of dressing. While formal attire is not mandatory, most guests choose to wear cocktail dresses, dress shirts with ties, suits, or even tuxedos. This gives everyone a chance to showcase their personal style and adds to the elegance of the evening.
Dining Experience:
On Elegant Night, the main dining rooms on Carnival ships transform into refined spaces, exuding an atmosphere of sophistication. Guests can enjoy a specially curated menu, featuring a variety of delectable dishes prepared by the skilled onboard chefs. From appetizers to main courses and desserts, the dining experience during Elegant Night aims to satisfy the most discerning palates.
Carnival has begun to make some modifications to the new menus based on the initial feedback. In the week of September 3, 2023 another modified menu has been rolled out:
(Please note: For cruises longer than 6 days, lobster will be added to the second elegant night menu, at this time that is the only difference between Elegant Night Menus. Two lobsters are complimentary, each additional lobster ordered will be charged $5.00/each)

Carnival Cruise Line and Emeril Lagasse have entered into a partnership to enhance the onboard dining experience for Carnival's guests. As part of this collaboration, Emeril Lagasse, a renowned chef known for his New Orleans-style cuisine, has created exclusive menus and signature dishes for select dining venues across Carnival's fleet of ships.
The partnership aims to introduce guests to a diverse range of culinary offerings, showcasing Emeril's culinary expertise and adding a touch of gourmet dining to the cruise experience. The menus feature a variety of dishes, including seafood specialties and desserts, designed to cater to different tastes and preferences.
New Carnival Menu Rollout Schedule
The new dining room menus were released on the Carnival Dream in June and Carnival Conquest in July of 2023.
The Carnival Menu rollout will continue fleetwide with the dates listed below, subject to change:

Mardi Gras: August 19, 2023
Carnival Breeze: September 2, 2023
Carnival Panorama: September 2, 2023
Carnival Celebration: September 9, 2023
Carnival Valor: September 18, 2023
Carnival Miracle: September 28, 2023
Carnival Glory: October 1, 2023
Carnival Liberty: October 2, 2023
Carnival Sunshine: October 19, 2023
Carnival Elation: October 21, 2023
Carnival Magic: October 22, 2023
Carnival Paradise: November 9, 2023

Two additional ships, the Carnival Luminosa and the Carnival Splendor, will receive the new dining menu at the start of 2024.
The Carnival Pride and the Carnival Venezia are also scheduled to get the new menus. Those dates have not been released yet.
