Big Pink Hop On Hop Off - Saint John Double Decker Bus Shore Excursion Stops & Map

Big Pink Bus Tour Hop-on Hop-off Shore Excursion

For our port day in Saint John, New Brunswick we booked the Big Pink Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour. We booked this tour through the cruise line and it was $75 per adult for the day.

At the pier, we traded in our shore excursion tickets for a sticker that was our ticket to ride the bus. We were also given the map of all the stops the Big Pink Bus was going to make - click the image below to see it all.

The complete loop took about an hour and a half, and it gives a great overview of the entire town. Some highlights were driving through Lily Lake Park, having an extended stop at the Reversing Rapids, and seeing the chainsaw carvings at Wolastoq National Historic Site. We were not the only ship in port when we visited so our bus was more crowded than normal. We thought it would be best to stay onboard and see the entire loop.

The description on the website from the cruise line is:

“Want to explore the delights of this charming harbor city? Climb aboard your authentic London double-decker and choose your own experience. Your all-day pass gives you access to a 90-minute loop, and all the best Saint John has to offer. This fully narrated tour takes you to many popular attractions and historic city landmarks including historic Uptown Saint John and the City Market where tasty treats and eye-catching crafts await you, and The New Brunswick Museum where the city’s rich heritage comes to life.

Witness the Reversing Falls Rapids to see the phenomenon that is reversing falls. The waters of the mighty Saint John River collide with the Bay of Fundy for a breathtaking spectacle you won’t soon forget. With flexibility, choice and freedom this tour allows you to plan your time in Saint John shopping, sightseeing or just walking this harbor city at your own pace by hopping on and off.”
