Introducing Norwegian Viva — Details, Itineraries, & More — Norwegian Cruise Line’s Second Prima Class Cruise Ship
Norwegian Cruise Line has announced their second of six Prima Class cruise ships, the Norwegian Viva. This will be the 19th ship in the NCL fleet and is slated to debut in summer of 2023. The Norwegian Viva appears to be a carbon copy of the Norwegian Prima, which is set to debut in summer of 2022. Not much is known about this cruise ship at the moment, however the information we do have puts this ship in a completely different level from their breakaway class ships. This new ship class is high end, luxurious, and intimate and we can’t wait to get onboard.
Norwegian Viva will spend the summer and fall of 2023 sailing a mix of 8, 9, & 10 day itineraries around Europe, the Mediterranean, and Greek Isles. In November 2023, it will depart on an 11-day transatlantic trek to New York City followed by media previews. Starting in mid-December of 2023, the Norwegian Viva will homeport in San Juan and sail a weekly 7-day itinerary to Barbados, Antigua, & St. Lucia through March 2024. Thereafter, it will be back in Europe for the Summer 2024 season.
