MSC Limits Drinks to 15 Per Day: Changes to Beverage Packages Starting in April 2025

MSC Cruises has introduced updates to their All-Inclusive Beverage Packages, effective for bookings made on or after December 18, 2024, for cruises departing from April 1, 2025. Below is a detailed breakdown of the changes.

MSC Alcoholic Beverage Limits

  • Daily Limit: Guests with the Easy, Easy Plus, or Premium Extra Packages will have a daily limit of 15 alcoholic drinks.

  • Non-Alcoholic Drinks: Unlimited non-alcoholic beverages remain available under the conditions of the purchased package.

Pricing Adjustments by Cruise Length

The pricing for drinks packages will now vary based on cruise duration:

  • 1–3 Nights

  • 4–9 Nights

  • 10 Nights or More (Including World Cruises)

Changes for Cruises Embarking in the USA

  • Package Availability:

    • Only the Premium Extra Package, Alcohol-free Package, and Minors Package will be offered on cruises in the Caribbean, North America, and Alaska.

    • This includes Grand Voyages and repositioning cruises embarking in the USA.

    • Guests who pre-purchase Easy and Easy Plus packages for these cruises before December 18, 2024, will receive service equivalent to their package.

Global Availability

  • Easy and Easy Plus Packages will continue to be sold in all markets except the USA and Canada. After December 18, 2024, these packages will no longer be available for purchase for cruises embarking in the USA or Canada.

Terms and Conditions

  • Packages are valid for one beverage per order and are non-transferable.

  • Daily pricing applies except on disembarkation day.

  • All guests in the same stateroom, including minors, must book the same package.

  • Infants under three years old are exempt from purchasing packages.

Booking and Payment Details

  • Before December 18, 2024: Packages added before this date will not have daily caps on alcoholic beverages.

  • Payment Requirements:

    • Bookings through the MSC website or MSC FOR ME app require full payment at the time of purchase.

    • Bookings via travel agents or MSC’s call center will be charged at the balance due date.

MSC Yacht Club Guests

  • No changes apply to beverage service within the MSC Yacht Club area.

  • The 15-drink cap applies when Yacht Club guests consume drinks outside the Yacht Club area.

MSC Yacht Club:

  • Previous: No restrictions.

  • Updated: Drink limits only apply outside the Yacht Club area. There are no drink limits inside the Yacht Club area.
