Difference Between Club Balcony Suite & Balcony Stateroom – Norwegian Cruise Line

Norwegian Cruise Line has recategorized their “Mini-Suite” category to a new category called “Club Suite Balcony“. This change in cabin category also brings along a couple more perks than the previous mini-suite category.

Club Balcony Suite - Norwegian Cruise Line Stateroom

If you book a Club Suite Balcony your booking will now come with the following perks:

  • Ability to pre-book onboard entertainment & dining beginning 125 days prior to sailing (for reference, Haven Bookings get 130 days and normal bookings get 120 days)

  • Delivery of a food and beverage amenity twice per sailing

  • One laundry bag or pressing service per sailing

  • One bottle of sparkling wine

Club Balcony Suite - Norwegian Cruise Line Floor Plan

One of the biggest differences between the balcony and the club balcony suite, in regards to the room, is the size of the bathroom. The club balcony suite has two sinks and a larger shower, as seen in the photo below.

These spacious rooms are available to book on a wide variety of itineraries such as Alaska, Bermuda, & Europe.

Club Balcony staterooms are broken into different categorization levels, we have them listed below for the Norwegian Bliss specifically, and may vary slightly between ships.

M4 Family Club Balcony Suite
Decks 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
Mid Ship
Perfect for families. Located mid-ship with easy access to everything, these Club Balcony Suites feature two lower beds that convert to a queen-size bed, sofa bed, additional bedding for 2, and a private balcony.

  • Accommodates: 4

  • Total Approx. Size: 249 sq. ft.

  • Balcony Size: 42 sq. ft.


M6 Club Balcony Suite with Larger Balcony
Decks 8, 9, 10
Forward, Mid, Aft
Featuring two beds that convert to a queen and a sofa bed - some also include an additional pullman bed. These Club Balcony Suites also offer amazing views. Enjoy the dining and excitement just steps away from The Waterfront.

  • Total Approx. Size: 329-439 sq. ft.

  • Balcony Size: 42-140 sq. ft.


M9 Spa Club Balcony Suite

Mid-Ship
Spa Club Balcony Suites feature tranquil spa décor and include a queen-size bed, oversized waterfall shower and multiple body spray jets, easy access to the adjacent Mandara Spa and fitness center, as well as complimentary access to the Thermal Suite during regular Spa hours.

  • Total Approx. Size: 249 sq. ft.

  • Balcony Size: 42 sq. ft.


MA / MB / MC Club Balcony Suite
Decks 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
Forward, Mid, Aft
Most located mid-ship with easy access to everything, these Club Balcony Suites feature two lower beds that convert to a queen-size bed, sofa bed, some feature additional bedding for up to four total guests, and a private balcony.

  • Accommodates: 2 - 4

  • Total Approx. Size: 249-361 sq. ft.

  • Balcony Size: 42 sq. ft.


MX Sail Away Club Balcony Suite

Mid-Ship
guarantees a Club Balcony Suite stateroom or better! Your stateroom may be on any deck and assigned up to one day prior to embarkation.

  • Norwegian Pearl: starting Oct. 10, 2020

  • Norwegian Escape: starting Oct. 11, 2020

  • Norwegian Gem: starting Oct. 30, 2020

  • Norwegian Epic & Norwegian Dawn: starting Nov. 8, 2020

  • Norwegian Getaway: starting Nov. 12, 2020

Pride of America, Norwegian Sky and Norwegian Spirit do not currently have Mini-Suites or Club Balcony Suite level staterooms.
