Isla Tropicale is a private cruise port located in Dixon Cove on the southern coast of Roatan, Honduras. Operated by Carnival Corporation, the destination welcomes ships from Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, and other Carnival Corporation brands.
The port features a single pier capable of accommodating two large cruise ships at the same time and can welcome thousands of cruise passengers each day. After disembarking, guests pass through a duty free shopping area before entering a large open air shopping village filled with souvenir stores, local vendors, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants.
Beyond the shopping village, guests can access Tropicale Beach and the new Mangrove Bay recreation area either by walking the shaded nature trail or by riding the aerial chairlift. These areas contain the majority of Isla Tropicale's restaurants, bars, and food venues.
Unlike food served onboard cruise ships, all food and beverages at Isla Tropicale are purchased separately. Cruise line drink packages do not work ashore, and all purchases are made individually using cash or credit card.

The El Hideaway menu combines traditional Honduran dishes, Caribbean specialties, seafood, burgers, and beach favorites.
One of the most popular local specialties is ceviche, available with shrimp, conch, or a combination of both. The dish is marinated with lime, onion, tomato, and cilantro and is commonly considered one of the signature foods of the Caribbean coast of Honduras.
Guests looking for authentic Honduran cuisine can order baleadas, one of the country's most famous dishes. The traditional version includes an oversized flour tortilla filled with refried beans and Honduran white cheese, while the loaded version adds either chicken or beef.

The Jerk Chicken station serves Caribbean style chicken meals accompanied by rice, beans, plantains, and pico de gallo. Guests can choose either a quarter leg or quarter breast portion.
American favorites are also available throughout the complex. Options include Angus beef burgers served with french fries, grilled chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, chicken wings, quesadillas, nachos, and chips with salsa.

Because all restaurants operate independently from the cruise lines, menu prices are charged separately and are not included with your cruise fare.
